The Eastwood Whelpton team includes several specialist boat builders with decades of knowledge and experience between them.
We’re very lucky to have such an experienced crew in our Norfolk workshop to care for our Hire Fleet, but they also enjoy carrying out work on other boats – including their own! Whether it’s a complete restoration or just a fresh coat of varnish, their hard work and skill are the secret to our brilliantly turned out hire fleet!

“As a group of 10 sailors from a Hertfordshire sailing club, we have just spent our fourth annual Broads holiday weekend with Eastwood Whelpton boats. As usual we had lots of fun with the three gaffers we hired, including a friendly race on Barton Broad on the Monday morning. EW, as ever, were helpful; the boats ready for us on the Saturday, clean and in good condition, and the staff stayed to see us back on Monday evening.”
