Escape to the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads
The Broads National Park contains some of the most stunning and unspoilt landscape that you will find in the UK. Imagine windpumps, reed beds and marshes, an abundance of wildlife and dramatic sunsets. Listen out for a Bittern in the reeds as you stroll along the river banks, explore the medieval roots of the regions churches and historical sites, not forgetting to pause all the way to absorb the stillness and vastness of this area of stunning natural beauty.
Broads sailing is all about big blue Norfolk skies, long winding rivers and the quiet beauty of the landscape. Adrenaline seekers will enjoy the challenge of negotiating tidal waters, medieval bridges and the ever changing direction of the narrowest waterways. If you prefer a more sedate sailing experience then the many broads and wide expanses of water are the perfect playgrounds for sailing newbies.

“The Broads provide an elegant antidote to the hurly-burly of life. Exploring its wildlife-filled marshes and woodland by boat, bike or boot is probably the most glamorous off-grid experience in the UK. “

“We chartered the sloop Windsong for a week. Son and dad. We did the bridges even Potters The boat was superbly prepared and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the adventure. Great bonding too and such a great boat to sail. Sailed 6 days for many hours each day. Great provisioning and domestics all supplied. Overall Six Stars. Would and intent to go again. Great value too. Lovely staff and boat service team. Nothing too much trouble. Joy too in the shower department after 6 days afloat. “

“My two grandsons did their RYA training here over the summer school holidays. They really enjoyed the training from very good instructors. I enjoyed delivering and collecting them to/from this lovely boatyard and partaking of their coffee & ice cream served from the converted horse box.”
