Explore the Norfolk Broads together and join us for a unique week as families come together to sail the beautiful waterways of the Norfolk Broads in a friendly flotilla.
Our family flotilla is a relaxed and welcoming week designed for families of all ages and boating experience. Full skippered support is available for families that are new to sailing or complete novices. Enjoy cruising alongside others while exploring some of the most beautiful waterways in the UK. Along the way there will be games, challenges, wildlife spotting and plenty of opportunities to stop at charming riverside villages. Evenings are all about relaxing together with food, laughter and stories from the day’s adventures.
Spaces in the flotilla are limited to keep the event friendly, safe and enjoyable for everyone. Reserve your place today and get ready for a week of boating adventure, family fun and unforgettable memories on the Norfolk Broads. Price is per yacht and includes flotilla support.
Example Itinerary
Mon
10:00 — onboarding – unpack and settle in for the week ahead.
Set sail for Ranworth:
- Nature reserve
- Boardwalk trails
- Climb the church tower
- Coffee shop, newsagents, ice creams, pub in village.
Evening waterside BBQ with music, games and storytelling.
Thurs
Onboard games, sailing skills and a little bit of racing.
Afternoon wildlife safari cruise.
Fish and chip night.
Tues
Set sail for Potter Heigham Bridge and through to Horsey Staithe:
- Lunch stop possible at Potter Heigham with ice creams, afternoon tea and fish and chip options.
- Afternoon sail on Horsey Mere.
- Evening treasure hunt.
Fri
Decorate your boat and join our colourful flotilla parade into Upton Dyke where prizes will be awared.
16:00 – time to head home.
Weds
Day at the beach or sail and explore independently for the day.
Group evening meal in a local pub/restaurant.
