This year we are leaving Moorhen, our beautiful 1950s motor cruiser, in the water a little bit longer, so our customers can enjoy the stillness and silence of our stunning surroundings out of season.

We are offering you and up to 4 friends a 2-hour cruise on the Norfolk waterways, with your own skipper and afternoon tea, to enjoy the more peaceful mid-winter afternoons. The Broads this time of year are truly special with plenty of wildlife still to be spotted and some beautifully crisp summer days. A particular favourite of the team here at Eastwood Whelpton, who often take advantage of the quieter winter months to be out on the water, is to head for St Benet’s Abbey, the ‘Cathedral of the Broads’.

So, wrap up warm, grab a hot chocolate and prepare to be enchanted all over again by the still waters of Norfolk.
