How to find us

Approaching Norwich from the West or South, join the A47, Southern Norwich bypass and travel towards Great Yarmouth (signed The Broads).

Approx. 5 miles from Norwich, the A47 becomes single carriageway for about 2 miles, with speed restricted to 50mph, and then opens out again to dual carriageway.

Pass the B1140 junction, signed South Walsham. Continue for 1/4 mile and, just past the layby and the cottage, turn left down an unsigned country road and follow the signs to Upton.

Approach the turn with caution or otherwise you will miss it. The turn is before the slip road to Acle which is also signed Upton - if you do miss the turn you can follow the signs through Acle to Upton.

On entering the village, continue to the White Horse public house and turn right opposite the pub. Turn left into Boat Dyke Road and follow the lane to the end and turn left into the boatyard.
