Coltishall
- Location: Off the River Bure
- Main attraction: Picturesque staithe
- Great for: Relaxing
Coltishall is a beautiful riverside village. It’s been coined the ‘Gateway to the Broads’ because it marks the navigable starting point of the River Bure. You will need to pass under Wroxham bridge (and the sailing up here can be more challenging as there are more trees on this stretch!)
The key draw of Coltishall is the picturesque staithe that can be found just outside the village and is surrounded by riverside pubs and fine properties.
To make a lovely day out, you can walk to the ruined Horstead Mill with its beautiful meadows.
