Seasonal Yacht Cleaning Team Vacancies

We are looking for friendly, professional and hardworking people with good attention to detail to help maintain our beautiful fleet of sailing yachts. The role is physical and involves deep cleaning of boats and equipment, boatyard facilities, laundry and preparing yachts for customer arrivals.

Hours – flexible depending on seasonal workload (end-March to end Oct). Usually morning changeover shifts (mon, tues, fri, sat) 08:30-12:30.

Contract type – seasonal zero hours contract.

Pay rate – tbc.

Seasonal Saturday Team Vacancies (14-18 yrs)

We are a family run business based at Upton Yacht Station and have employed young people for many years at Eastwood Whelpton – our Saturday morning teams are legendary and we need some new team members for the 2025 sailing season!

We are looking for physically fit, hardworking, energetic and friendly new team members. If you enjoy cleaning, have an eye for detail and take pride in a job well done we would love to talk to you!

Hours – yacht changeover morning shifts (Saturdays term time) from 08:30-12:30. In the school holidays shifts may also be available on Mon/Tues/Fri mornings.

Contract Type – seasonal (22nd March – 31 Oct 2025). Zero Hours contract usually up to 4 hours per week depending on workload.

Pay rate – £7-£10 per hour depending on age.

Key tasks include:

Cleaning our Hire Fleet yachts and preparing for hire. This can include both internal cabin cleaning and also external deck and cockpit cleaning tasks.

You will be expected to clean to a high standard and document routine tasks working alongside one of our experienced team as part of your induction period.

If you have an interest in sailing there may be additional tasks you could be involved in, including supporting with rigging checks etc.
