We're located in the heart Norfolk Broads' best sailing waters, making us one of the most desirable places to start a holiday, whether you want a peaceful break in tranquility, or an action-packed RYA training course.
Our fleet comprises traditional sailing yachts and modern sailing boats for charter hire from Upton Yacht Station, which is situated in the centre of the network of rivers and lakes we know as the Broads.
We pride ourselves on having the best turned-out hire yachts on the broads thanks to our dedicated team of staff. For over 50 years, Anne and Tim Whelpton perfected Norfolk Broads sailing in a blooming business leaving many customers coming back for more. Since Tim's demise in March 2009, Anne continues to run the yard with the expertise of her loyal crew.
Our exceptional yachts can be rented currently from just £589 per week! Also, you can take 3 or 4 day breaks away from the hustle and bustle with our half-week holidays.
Not a seasoned sailor? Not to worry! Every customer receives personal attention and help, and advice is freely available for beginners.
In addition, the Norfolk Broads School of Sailing, in association with Eastwood Whelpton, offers a wide range of courses, covering all aspects of yacht sailing on inland waters, from 'Start Sailing' to 'Advanced Techniques'.
